2014 BCLA Conference

Renaissance Vancouver Harbourside Hotel, 1133 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC March 31 to April 2, 2014


Online registration for the 2014 Conference has now closed. Thank you to all who registered!

We will be offering on-site registrations. Payment can be made by credit card, cheque or cash – please visit the Conference Office (Port of Vancouver room in the Vancouver Renaissance Harbourside Hotel, on the same floor as the trade show / Library Lounge).

Registration Desk Hours:

Monday, March 31st: Delegate registration (badge pickup) will take place on the A level (lower level) outside of Salon A
3:00 pm – 6:30 pm
then will relocate to the Harbourside Foyer on the Second Level from 6:45 pm – 9:00 pm

The Conference Registration Desk will be located in the Harbourside Foyer on the Second Level all day on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wednesday, April 2nd:
8:00 am – 3:00 pm


Member on-site full: $430 Non-member on-site full: $580
Member on-site one-day (Tuesday OR Wednesday): $290 Non-member on-site one-day (Tuesday OR Wednesday): $445

Student regular full: $270
Student regular one-day (Tuesday OR Wednesday): $200

Exhibits Pass only: $60 – Valid in Trade Show on Tuesday only between 10:30 am—5:15 pm. Includes lunch and breaks held in the Exhibits. Does not include access to sessions. This pass is for delegates only, and vendors unaffiliated with a trade show booth who attempt to conduct business on the trade show floor will be asked to leave.

Onsite Registration – Please visit the Port of Vancouver Room if purchasing your registration on site.

Send 10 – 19 delegates from your institution and receive a 5% rebate. Send 20 or more and receive a 10% rebate. To receive your rebate, send a list of your delegate to by April 2. Cheques will be cut at the end of April.

Please note, the Institutional Sampler is not available. The Institutional Sampler was discontinued as of 2010.

Registrations are not transferable. Cancellations must be made in writing to by March 18, 2014 – a $50 cancellation fee will apply.

Member means a current member of BC Library Association, BC Library Trustees Association, or Health Libraries Association of BC.

Please note, the Monday Keynote and President’s Reception is open to Full Registration delegates only.
