Information for Exhibitors

Trade Show Services & Shipping

The 2015 BC Library Conference has registered with the Canada Border Services Agency. Please download the letter here.  Please also attach this document to any boxes or packages being shipped to Canada for this event.

Showtime Event & Display is our official trade show service and product supplier. For details on their products and services, view the Showtime Order Package. Showtime will contact all registered exhibitors with secure logins to place orders online.

For all out-of-country exhibitors who require customs clearance assistance, North American Logistics Services Inc. (NALSI) has been appointed the official customs broker. Please contact Mark Fowler at 778-328-2841 or mfowler@nalsi.com for more information. NALSI also offers shipping services. Please see the attached NALSI Exhibit Transportation & Customs Clearance Instructions Manual

FAQ

Q: What is the cost of Wifi?
A: Wifi in the exhibits hall is complimentary

Q: Are parking passes included in our exhibitor registration?
A: No, they are not. BCLA has negotiated a special parking rate for all our exhibitors and delegates at a rate of $10 per day. Passes must be purchased at the Sheraton’s reception desk in order to receive this rate.

Q: Is the exhibits hall carpeted?
A: Yes it is.

Q: When can we ship our booth materials?
A: Showtime will accept booth shipments between May 6th – 18th. Please view the Showtime Order Package above with more details.

Q: How many exhibitor representatives are included in my exhibitor registration?
A: 2 representatives are included. Additional reps can be added. The cost is $100 per person. Online registration has now closed, but you may pay by cheque or cash during Exhibitor Check-In on site.

Q: How do I ship my exhibit booth materials home?
A: Showtime Event & Display is our official trade show services supplier. They will be on site to help exhibitors with shipping. Please note, they do charge a shipping and handling fee to provide this service for you.

Q: Can I ship my exhibit booth material myself?
A: Yes – please bring your own courier waybill and call the courier to arrange for pickup. The Sheraton can provide storage for your materials only up until Monday,  May 25th. Please speak with a Sheraton banquet staff to assist you with putting your items into their storage.
