Thank you for your interest in sponsoring the 2020 BC Library Conference! Exhibitors that register for a sponsorship by January 31st, 2020, receive preferential booth allocations.

A variety of levels of sponsorship opportunities are available. Please contact our Conference Coordinator, Shannon Stumph, at shannon@dfcevents.ca if you have any questions. We have many different options available on a first-come first-served basis.  Sponsors receive prominent and preferential booth allocations when they also register to exhibit in the trade show.

Sponsorship Opportunities:

Platinum – $5,000
Sponsor one of the keynote speakers, Opening /Hot Topics/Closing, and you will have the opportunity to address the 300 attendees. Included in this sponsorship is:
– Brochures / Promotional item placement on each seat at the keynote (sponsor to provide items to the BCLA office prior to the event)
– Complimentary Exhibitor Booth
– 2 Complimentary Full Conference Delegate Registrations
– Logo and links on the BCLA Conference Website
– Logo on on-site signage and screens
– Pre and Post show email messages to the BCLA Mailing List facilitated and endorsed by the BCLA Executive Director

Gold – $3,000

All Delegates Reception – Immediately after the Opening Keynote address, we open the Trade Show for 2 hours of unopposed time for networking. A delicious assortment of hot and cold hors d’oeurves are served and a cash bar is available.

Lunch in the Exhibits – Over 500 attendees gather in the Exhibits Hall to grab their lunch, visit and network with the exhibitors.

Awards Luncheon – On Friday, May 11th, we are bringing back the Awards Luncheon to honour individuals and institutions in the library community for their outstanding achievements.

Wireless Internet – Complimentary wireless internet is offered to all attendees and a customized password of your company’s name will be used and included on all of the internet signage and instructions.

*NEW* – Library Lounge – Within the trade show on the Wednesday and Thursday, we will have a lounge area with tables and seating for delegates to take a break during the conference. The sponsor of the Library Lounge can provide branded items of flyers for the Library Lounge.

Sponsor one of the Gold Level items, included in this sponsorship is:
– Speaking opportunity for your organization’s representative to address attendees at the sponsored event
– Promotional flyer displayed at the registration desk for all delegates
– Logo and links on the BCLA Conference Website
– Logo on on-site signage and screens
– Pre and Post show email messages to the BCLA Mailing List facilitated and endorsed by the BCLA Executive Director

Silver – $1,500

Ice Cream Break – Ice cream bars are offered to attendees during a networking break in the Exhibits Hall.

Afternoon Appetizers – Afternoon appies are offered to attendees during a networking break in the Exhibits Hall.

Java Jolt Coffee Break – Coffee and Tea are offered to attendees during a networking break in the Exhibits Hall.

Caffeine Fix Coffee Break – Coffee and Tea are offered to attendees during a networking break on Friday, May 11th.

Pre-Keynote Pick-me-up – Snacks and beverages will be offered to the attendees of the Closing Keynote address.

5 Session Package – Sponsor 5 Bronze Level sessions for a Silver Level Sponsorship.

Sponsor one of the Silver Level items, included in this sponsorship is:
– Promotional flyer displayed at the registration desk for all delegates
– Logo and links on the BCLA Conference Website
– Logo on on-site signage

Bronze – $300

Sponsor a breakout session at the conference and your company will be acknowledged during the session, on the BC Library Conference Website and Social Media, plus you have the opportunity to provide promotional materials to have at the conference at the selected breakout session.

Room Drop – $500

BCLA is preparing a Room Drop for the more than 100 delegates staying at the conference hotel on Wednesday April 15th. There are up to four spots available and the cost is $500 per room drop. Add your information, cards, gifts, or invitations to the Room Drop.
