We encourage the development of reciprocal relationships between Aboriginal communities and information organizations such as libraries and community resource centres.<\/p>\n<h3>Mission<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To share knowledge on aspects of the information profession relevant to Aboriginal interests, as expressed by Aboriginal people, by creating relevant and respectful learning opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>To develop relationships between knowledge organizations and Aboriginal individuals, communities, and organizations.<\/li>\n<li>To encourage and support the recruitment of Aboriginal information professionals by encouraging organizational inclusivity and diversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Did you know?<\/h3>\n<p>The FNIG has been working together since 1992.
