British Columbia Library Association

2018 Professional Learning Assessment Survey

Welcome to the 2018 Professional Learning Assessment Survey!

The 2018 BCLA Professional Learning Assessment Survey seeks to understand the diverse, regional and personal professional development needs of the British Columbia library community. This is a follow-up survey to the 2016 Professional Learning Assessment survey and builds on the information collected from that survey.

You are invited to participate in the 2018 on-line survey to help BCLA, and other library-related organizations, frame future professional development training and information. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Your name will not appear in any report or publication that uses the information collected through this survey. The collected cumulative data will be used in several ways including, but not limited to, reports to the library community, reports to the Libraries Branch of the Ministry of Education, and then available electronically on the BCLA website. All information is stored on a Canadian server.

BCLA gratefully acknowledges the support of the Libraries Branch, Ministry of Education, in funding this survey.

If you have questions about the survey please contact the BCLA Executive Director, Annette DeFaveri, at
