BCLA Perspectives is excited to share the December 2018 issue on Outreach. The issue features 15 stories (whoa–thank you for all the enthusiasm!) from academic, community and public libraries, and organizations. Read how using new technologies, evaluating social media strategies, trying new programming, leaving the library itself, and using outreach to support other library initiatives brings new users to the library and engages in more meaningful dialogue and service.
The next BCLA Perspectives theme is on Collaboration. From GLAM activities and community partnerships, to working together across departments or library roles, we want to know what’s happening–and what’s not but should be–in addition to the challenges faced, the lessons learned, and the opportunities you see in the future. We also hope you’ll help us develop the issue: Email email@example.com with story ideas or for more information about collaborating with the editorial board on the Collaboration issue.
