Children and Teen Services (CATS) Conference

Save the Date & Call for Presenters

Monday, October 5, 2020
Kelowna, BC

The Okanagan Regional Library System (ORL), Nelson Public Library (NPL), Thompson-Nicola Regional Library (TNRL) and British Columbia Library Association (BCLA) are pleased to announce our 2nd annual CATS Conference will be held later this year. CATS is a FREE one-day professional development event for children’s and teen library staff from across the province. Last year’s conference was attended by 70 library staff from 26 different libraries.

If you are interested in presenting at the conference, please fill out the form on the following page. We are looking for presentations that are dynamic and engaging, and are open to a facilitated discussion format (i.e. rather than delivering a formal presentation, you could lead a conversation on a specific topic of interest). Deadline for submission is March 15, 2020.

Questions? We’re happy to help!

Thank you,
Your CATS Organizing Committee
