I never finished a degree, but I had the chance to study in the BC Community Librarian Certificate Program and I have been learning every day since I started this position. The fact that I am in this role is a testament to the power of Public Libraries to teach and empower individuals. I have volunteered for the Lillooet Restorative Justice program since 2010, I am a trained Community Justice Forum facilitator. When I am not working or volunteering, I will be found in the garden or out walking the goats, with a pair of binoculars around my neck.
