Resource Recommendation: Learn to Drive Smart (in Arabic)

Hands holding a driving manual openThe Arabic version of Learn to Drive Smart is a popular book that’s always in demand at Surrey Libraries.

This resource has become one of the primary resources that are emphasized during library tours and library programs designated for Arabic speakers as it is used to prepare for the ICBC Knowledge Test. Driving is an important skill to acquire especially for big families with young children, as some Arabic speaking patrons have stated that driving would make moving around easier as opposed to walking and using public transportation.  And for many who have limited English skills, this guide allows them to get started on the licensing process so that they can take the Knowledge Test that is also provided in Arabic by ICBC.

This is a translated version of ICBC Learn to Drive Smart (2013 edition), however, there is a disclaimer by the translator Kariman Mughrabi, on the title page that “this translation is not an ICBC publication and is not an official version of Drive Smart for Drivers.”
