An open access, quarterly online publication that communicates and discusses British Columbia Library Association activities and news, library-related issues, and topics of interest to BCLA members.
>> The Remote Work Issue of BCLA Perspectives features articles on the various ways libraries have adapted to remote work and service delivery this past year. Many of us are still working from home, with all of the challenges that come with that. For those of us working on site, we are adapting to ever-changing situations. All of us are doing our best to connect with others in creative and distanced ways.
The articles in this issue showcase some of the strategies that have been developed for connecting with staff and patrons remotely, and the lessons learned. Additional content focuses on gender diversity in libraries and the library work that’s been going on in rural settings – including a new ongoing column showcasing libraries and librarians throughout the province. Thanks for reading.
