Over the next few weeks, we will be introducing you to our guest speakers for this year’s Youth Services Institute. Today, meet Venecia Williams.
Venecia Williams is a post-secondary educator working with students from diverse backgrounds. Venecia’s focus has been creating and delivering curriculum to foster intercultural awareness and sensitivity, assisting her students in developing sociocultural competencies and deliberately creating space for critical discourse on EDI-related issues. Venecia has expertise in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), an educational framework that provides learners with equal opportunities to excel.
