YAACS (Young Adult And Children’s Services) has a number of positions vacant. Serving on committees is a great way to stretch yourself professionally and looks great on resumes!
All positions require a BCLA membership, which is priced on a sliding scale according to self-reported annual income. If the membership fee is a barrier for you, please reach out. There is no job classification requirement, other than that you work in library services and work with youth and/or children in that role. In other words, you don’t need to be a librarian.
