If you were able to attend the BC Library Conference in Nanaimo, you may remember our opening speaker Khari Wendell McClelland, whose vibrant presentation was one of our highlights!
To start off our professional development offerings this fall, Khari is hosting a workshop called “Facilitation for Community Transformation” on Thursday, September 4th at 10:00am – 11:30am PDT on Zoom.
Khari believes there is a need for values-based creative solutions for community building and problem solving and will guide us through the 9 pillars of community facilitation, which are outlined in a handbook he helped design. Khari’s consulting work has included the Burnaby Public Library where he collaborated with leaders and supervisors to cultivate their facilitation skills.
