BCLA is pleased to announce the new BC Library Professional Development Calendar!
The calendar brings together the variety of live learning opportunities available for BC library workers and trustees in one place, making it easier to get involved and get informed. It also allows event organizers to determine the best dates and times for their events to maximize attendance by avoiding scheduling conflicts when possible.
In addition to events hosted by BCLA, the calendar features learning opportunities from BC library-focused organizations such as the BC Library Trustees Association, BC Libraries Co-operative, Public Library InterLINK, and others. BCLA’s Sections, Committees and Interest Groups are also encouraged to contribute details of their upcoming learning and networking opportunities.
Take some time to explore the events calendar and see the exciting programs coming up, including BCLA’s annual Year-End Keynote, Avery Swartz on AI and Libraries, on Wednesday, December 9th at 10:00am – 11:15am. We hope to see you there!
Wishing everyone all the best in our wrap-up of Canadian Library Month!
For questions about the calendar, please contact Natalie Porter, BCLA’s Provincial Professional Development Coordinator.
