Theme
The 2020 BCLA Conference was planned for April 15-17 at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel. The theme was Come Together and Celebrate Libraries and the scheduled keynote speakers were Jessie Loyer and Seth Klein. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were forced to cancel the 2020 BC Library Conference.
With such an amazing program of speakers and topics lined up, we knew we wanted to find a way for as many of our presenters as possible to still be able to share their work and their ideas. BCLA pivoted and offered a virtual “summer conference”. We called this virtual series The Conversation Continues.
