Title: Using AI Tools in Library Marketing
Description: Artificial intelligence (AI) can seem like a double-edged sword. It’s cutting-edge technology that can slash your workload but could kill accuracy and quality when wielded incorrectly. The trick is to view AI as simply a tool to aid you in the creative process, rather than a comprehensive solution. AI can be particularly helpful with a library’s promotional efforts. This presentation explores a variety of AI tools that can help to boost marketing and promotional efforts – from enhancing content creation to streamlining social media strategy.
Outcomes include:
1. Learn about AI-focused tools and services that can help Marketing and PR efforts
2. Explore some current best practices when using AI tools and services
3. Find out about current library AI-related policies, and how they can help or hinder the day-to-day work of marketing and promotion
