BCLA Policy on Job Postings

Through its participation in The Partnership of provincial and territorial library associations, BCLA provides an important service for the benefit of members by maintaining a website listing employment opportunities in libraries and related fields. This service is provided through The Partnership Job Board, which maintains a listing of positions available in the library and information sector in Canada.

The following guidelines apply to all Job Board postings:

  1. Postings are $55 for employers who are members of one of the Provincial or Territorial Associations in the Partnership. Non-members will be charged $85 for each posting.
  2. Employers are encouraged when posting job opportunities to ensure that the position requirements reflect the position description.
  3. The Association reserves the rights to refuse listings for any reason.

To submit a posting:
Employment opportunities must be posted by going to the Partnership Job Board at www.partnershipjobs.ca. Postings to the Job Board will automatically be forwarded to the Email Notification Service, an automated e-mail detailing new job postings.

The application of these guidelines is the responsibility of the Executive Director.
