Building a Foundation for BCLA’s Anti-Racism Work

BCLA is working with the Commons Consulting, led by Adeline Huynh, as we strive to become an anti-racist organization.

The Commons Consulting is built upon decades of experience in justice, equity, diversity, inclusion (JEDI) and anti-racism work in multiple sectors and settings. They seek to weave together strategic and innovative thinking more meaningfully with principles of reciprocity, collaboration and transparency.

During the BCLA Conference, we invited Adeline to talk about her perspective and approach to anti-racism and EDI work, as well as sharing how BCLA will be building a foundation for anti-racism work over the next year with the support of the Commons Consulting. We are happy to be able to share the recording of that session with you here. The accompanying slides can be found directly below the video.

In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sharing updates and opportunities to engage in the work we’ll be doing with Adeline and The Commons Consulting via direct emails to BCLA members and more broadly through the Main Discussion on Branches: BCLA’s Online Forum.
